Community Service

Embrace facilitates community service opportunities for parents and children to volunteer together, building a spirit of service among families and introducing children to Jewish values around doing good.

We regularly partner with One Sandwich At A Time and New York Common Pantry to make and deliver sandwiches to Harlem food pantries, as well as community-wide service events with JCC Harlem.

Community Service Scouts is our youth service learning program for kids ages 8-12 (and mature 7 year-olds) to meet once a month on Sunday afternoons for team-building, volunteer projects alongside local community-based organizations, and exploration of Jewish values that inform service.
